This was my first project at university for the Introduction to Design Engineering module. It tackled the problem of water security with the brief:

The brief asks you to: ‘seek creative solutions that support or lead to achieving aims such as equitable access to clean water, reduction of water wastage, managing contaminated water, mitigating water disasters, etc. Solutions should consider aspects such as sustainability, scalability, and adaptability. You will need to select and define a specific context for your intervention, then explore ideas, develop a selected idea and demonstrate the validity of your original idea/s through a variety of means including physical prototyping and engineering modelling.
